How we write
We place facts side by side and leave the verdict to the numbers wherever possible. Disparagement does not appear — no “rip-off”, no “scam”. Where we do judge, it is phrased as a recognisable assessment, for example: “At 89 euros we would expect a higher natural-fibre share.”
Who writes
cromavo is made by a small editorial team; research and copy are produced with AI assistance and reviewed editorially before publication. We do not invent author profiles or personal experiences. Where the operator bought an item personally, the text says so explicitly — everything else is researched, not lived.
Independence from the money
Part of this site is funded by affiliate links and advertising. Neither influences which brands we cover or how we assess them. Fact checks carry no affiliate links and no advertising as a matter of principle — their entire value is credibility, and credibility does not survive a buy button next to it.
A possible conflict of interest is named rather than hidden: should we ever link to the family-owned jewellery business (Juwelier Harnisch), the disclosure sits directly at the link.
