What cromavo is

cromavo is an independent portal for fashion, accessories and jewellery. For every brand we record who owns it, where it is made and what the material actually is — as a directory you can filter and as a portrait you can read.

The rule behind all of it is simple: every statement about a parent group, a country of production or a material composition carries a verifiable, linked source with the date we read it. Where we find no source, the statement does not appear. We publish portraits, not tests — and we say plainly what we could not establish.

Ownership

A handful of groups own most of the names you know.

Perfume, eyewear and socks carrying a house’s name are often produced by third parties under licence. We name the licensor, the licensee and the date — or we leave the field empty.
