A material claim that could be measured
Rimowa is the outlier in this segment: not clothing but luggage. That makes its material judgeable in a way fabric is not. Aluminium and polycarbonate have wall thicknesses, alloys and weights — figures that can be stated, and that textiles rarely offer with the same clarity.
Whether Rimowa states them we have not yet checked at the product pages. For this house it would be the obvious next step.

LVMH holds the majority, since 2016. The brand was founded in Cologne in 1898.
